Industrial surface treatment

Powder coating
Powder coating is a coloring technology that uses powder instead of paint. The powder is sprayed with a spray tool,
heated andapplied to the selected surface to form a colored coating.
If the material can hold an electrostatic charge and withstand high temperatures, it can be powder coated. Xiangxinghe
currently offers several grades of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel for our in-house powder coating.
1.Before powder coating, you must prepare the selected surface to ensure proper adhesion of the coating. For industrial
applications, you need to clean the surface (usually metal) of any oil or dirt that would otherwise prevent the powder from
being used.
2.During the application phase, the powder is transformed and adheres to the selected surface through a process called
electrostatics, where both the powder particles and the surface are charged with a volt of electrostatic energy.
3. After the powder coating is applied, the coating should be cured at temperatures exceeding 400°F for at least 10 minutes. This allows the newly melted powder to settle onto the selected surface. As the
coating cures, the original properties of the polymer, acrylic or epoxy resin come into play, forming a tight, thick and shiny surface coating.
As metal protection, our wide range of sprays and powders protect your structures from the elements and general wear and tear.
As decoration, we have exactly what you need to ensure your components truly stand out. Our industrial surface treatment services are vibrant,
long-lasting and reliable, second to none.

Industrial paint
Industrial color coating is achieved through a process called spray painting, where the paint is applied in an atomized form
by a high-pressure pump unit. In most applications, the paint is delivered by pneumatic tools or machinery to achieve a
consistent, even coating on the selected surface.
Before applying the spray paint to the selected surface, sandblasting must be performed to remove oily residues and dirt
from the metal. At Xiangxinghe, the minimum grade of industrial sandblasting is Sa2.5, which can meet the requirements
of most industries. Then treat the surface with a wet spray gun. The process continues until you have a sufficiently thick
layer of paint evenly applied to the entire surface.
Preparation before spraying paint is particularly important. In addition to sandblasting to increase the adhesion of paint
on the metal surface, you also need to pay attention to air humidity and temperature. Choosing the right temperature and
humidity can make the paint dry quickly to form a protective layer. In addition, it should be noted that the primer should
be completed within 2 hours after the sandblasting work is completed.
